Ellen Marie Taylor
Ellen Marie Taylor age 90, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017. Marie was born February 8, 1927 in Enola, Pennsylvania to Charles and Etta Bushey. She grew up in Enola and graduated from Enola High School in June 1944. At the time of her death Marie was survived by her husband of 71 years Harris Taylor of Belleview, FL. After getting married in December of 1946 the couple resided in Enola, PA where Marie worked as a store clerk and Harris worked in the flooring industry in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area.
In 1956 the couple relocated to Belleview, FL (Marion County) where Harris had grown up, spending much of his youth on Smith Lake in Candler, FL. Although rough at first being away from her Pennsylvania family, Marie grew to love Florida and the little town of Belleview and the family activities of camping, boating and fishing. Marie and her family were active members of the Belleview Methodist Church. She taught the Adult Sunday School class for many years and later hosted an Annual Tea Party for her Women’s Bible Study group.
In 1959 Marie attended Central Florida Community College, completing the Stenographers Certificate program and went on to work for 15 years as a Legal Secretary for the law firm of Greene and Simmons, PA of Ocala, FL
One of Marie’s loves was to plan and prepare family dinners, greeting everyone at the door with a smile and big hug! After retiring Marie learned to paint, focusing mainly on rolling farmland scenes, covered bridge images from her Pennsylvania youth. She was also an avid quilter making quilts for all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren! After her husband Harris retired the couple traveled extensively around the USA and Israel.
In addition to her husband, other survivors are son Billy Taylor and wife Donna Lee (Ocala, FL) and daughter Susie Taylor Willoughby and husband David (Belleview, FL). She had four grandchildren Jennifer Taylor Welch and husband J.R. (Clayton, NC); Jason Taylor and wife Katie (Jacksonville, FL); Sammy Willoughby and wife Jennifer (Knoxville, TN) and Samantha Willoughby Ewart and husband David (Belleview, FL). Marie was blessed with five great-grandchildren Peyton Marie and Taylor Brooke Welch (Clayton, NC); Brayden Alexandar Willoughby (Knoxville, TN); Henry William Taylor (Jacksonville, FL) and Mabry Jade Ewart (Belleview, FL). Marie is survived by her sister Merial “Millie” First (Enola, PA) and first cousin Winnie Richwine (Santos, FL) and numerous nieces and nephews in the Harrisburg, PA area.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers John Curtis Bushey (Harrisburg, PA) and Edward ‘Zeke’ Bushey (Enola, PA).

Harris Wardell Taylor
Harris Wardell Taylor age 93 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Harris was born February 4, 1924 in Adamsville, Tennessee to David Andrew and Iva Ann Taylor. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years Ellen Marie Taylor (Belleview, FL) on November 10, 2017.
At age 18 Harris joined the US Navy serving during World War II from November, 1942 to December, 1945 as a Gunner’s Mate Third Class. He was proud to have served on the Destroyer Escort, the USS Neunzer and later the Essex Class aircraft carrier, the USS Boxer.
After getting married in December of 1946 the couple resided in Enola, PA where Harris worked in the flooring industry and Marie worked as a store clerk in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area.
In 1956 the couple moved to Belleview, FL (Marion County) where Harris had grown up, spending much of his youth on Smith Lake in Candler, FL. His love for fishing as a young man became a serious passion as an adult, using a fly rod and popper bug to catch largemouth bass! Camping and fishing were a big part of the family’s recreational activities. Harris and his family were active members of the Belleview Methodist Church (on Robinson Road) where he served for a while as the Sunday School Superintendent.
Not long after moving to Florida, Harris took a job with Florida Power Corporation (now Duke Energy) working at the Ocala Substation Maintenance shop and later at the Wildwood Central Repair shop. He retired at 62 years of age after 29 years of employment with Florida Power Corporation. During the time he worked for Florida Power, Harris became a grandfather for the first time. It was around this time that his co-workers and family began to call him “Pappy”, a nickname he wore proudly for the rest of his life.
In his retirement years Harris continued to fish, camp and travel the United States with his wife Marie. When not on the road, he could be found tinkering in his workshop.
Harris is survived by son Billy Taylor and wife Donna Lee (Ocala, FL) and daughter Susie Taylor Willoughby and husband David (Belleview, FL). He had four grandchildren Jennifer Taylor Welch and husband J.R. (Clayton, NC); Jason Taylor and wife Katie (Jacksonville, FL); Sammy Willoughby and wife Jennifer (Knoxville, TN) and Samantha Willoughby Ewart and husband David (Belleview, FL). Harris was blessed with five great-grandchildren Peyton Marie and Taylor Brooke Welch (Clayton, NC); Brayden Alexandar Willoughby (Knoxville, TN); Henry William Taylor (Jacksonville, FL) and Mabry Jade Ewart (Belleview, FL). Harris is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife Marie and his parents, Harris was also preceded in death by four brothers, Guy Austin Taylor, Ben Reilly Taylor, Olman Preston Taylor, Buddy Taylor and five sisters, Arizona Mae Scott, Leona Godwin, Lucille Glattli, Eva Floyd, and Sarah Pride Taylor.

MARY LOUISE TAGUE
Mary Louise Tague, 59 years of age, passed away hand in hand with her husband of 34 years at their home in Hawthorne, Florida.
She loved to laugh and had a sense of humor unlike most. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, she grew up being involved in Girl Scouts. When her own children joined the association, she chose to become a troop leader. An active member in Eastern Star, The Jaycee organization, and Trinity United Methodist Church. She was always involved in something.
Mary made a career in the pharmaceutical industry developing a passion for compounding and the techniques behind it. She found a home at Sunshine Drugs in Belleview, FL and took pride in taking care of those in the community.
She is survived by Michael (husband) of Hawthorne, FL; a brother and sister, Paul and Susan, both of Chicago; daughters Elizabeth and Sara, of Ocala and Hawthorne; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren whom she cherished every moment since their birth.
Mary departed peacefully knowing her Cubs had finally won a World Series.

ROBERT A. HERNANDEZ
Robert A. Hernandez (aka Bob), 84, passed away peacefully on 12/5/17 with his loving family at his side. Bob was born in New York and after graduating college became a Certified Public Accountant. With vast knowledge in his field, he made it his life’s work to help others.
Bob is survived by Marie, his wife of 64 years; six children; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service was held on 12/12/17 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview.

RONALD CLEMENT
Ronald Clement, 79, of Belleview, FL, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Ronald was born October 30, 1938 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Marcellus and Ethel Clement Dyal. He was a route salesman and merchandiser for a beverage company.
Mr. Clement is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon, of Belleview; children, Ron, Julie, and Leslie of Summerfield and Paul of Belleview; grandchildren, Jennifer, George, Rachel and Jessica; great grandchild, Austin; sisters, Dorothy Wheeler and Sally Matchett; brother, David Clement; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Virginia and Gloria; brothers, Robert and Jerry; and granddaughter, Hayley.
Visitation was held Monday, December 11, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road in Belleview. Service were held with Pastor Dale Hile of The Church of God of Prophecy officiating.

MARGARET INEZ NEWMAN
Margaret Inez Newman, 78, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home, Lenoir City, Tennessee. Margaret was born in Miami, Florida to the late Carl and Gladys (Hall) Hicks.
She was preceded in death by her husband Reverend J. Donald Newman.
Margaret is survived by her children Darrell (Kim) Newman; Madison, MS, Kenneth (Sharon) Newman; Belleview, FL, Karen (Jeff) Cook; Lenoir City, TN and Carl (Jamie) Newman; Buford, GA. She was the proud grandmother of Justin, Andrew, Kyle, Zachary, Savannah, Sydney, Delanya and Tayten. She is also survived by sisiter, Janie Zimmerman; Summerfield, FL, sister-in-law Gail Bateman; Jacksonville, FL and nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, on December 7. The graveside service was held at Crum Cemetery, Summerfield.

DAVID MIRACLE
David Miracle, 67, of Summerfield, Florida passed away December 2, 2017 at Ted & Diane Brandley House, Summerfield, Florida.
David was born on March 10, 1950 in Trenton, Michigan a son of the late John and Barbara (Baker) Miracle. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he was a Steel Mill Operator.
David is survived by daughters, Jennifer Miracle and Tammy Miracle of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by his companion Ellen Cardle of Summerfield, FL and her children Crissy Santello and Fredrick Cardle. He has 8 grandchildren, Tasha, Calvin, Darren, Autumn, Ramses, Brittany, Austin and Cody and 3 great grandchildren, Antonio, Caleb and Bella. He is also survived by sisters, Carmen Vance, Carol Brown and Dawn Laboe all of Flatrock, MI and Ruth Creger of Brooklyn, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Burbo) Miracle; brothers, John Miracle and Terry Miracle and sister, Sharon Hurst.

SADIE IRENE
SODERBLOM HACKETT
Sadie Irene Soderblom Hackett, age 84, of Summerfield passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was born in Sanford, Florida on April 23, 1933 to Karl and Jessie Soderblom. She attended Lake Monroe Elementary School and graduated from Seminole High School. She married Ralph Dillon Hackett of Orlando, Florida, and they settled in Sanford where they raised two children.
They moved to Summerfield in 1979, where they built a house on 50 acres that Ralph inherited from his grandfather, James Dillon Proctor. Sadie worked at the credit bureau in Sanford when she met and married Ralph. She was a stay-at-home mom until the children entered grade school. She worked for Chelsea Title and Abstract Company in Sanford and Inverness until she retired in 1995 as the Branch Manager. She loved to play tennis, and she was an avid bird watcher. Her favorite pastime was tending to her many flower gardens and pulling weeds. Ralph and Sadie attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Summerfield.
Sadie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ralph, two children: Ronald Dillon Hackett and Donna Irene Hackett, two grandchildren: Michael Aaron Hackett and Candace Marie Hackett Dahne, and four great grandchildren: Hunter Matthew Hackett, Evan Michael Hackett, Gwendolyn Marie Dahne, and Penelope Rose Dahne, and her cat, Miss Kitty.

RUTH FRANCES DAY
Ruth Frances Day, 83, of The Villages, Florida passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Sumter Place In The Villages The Villages, Florida. She was the wife of Donald D. Day for 66 years.
Ruth was born on April 9, 1934 in Miami, Florida a daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Betts) Dillard. Ruth enjoyed life with her husband and loved the Lord. Because of her the Day family and the next generations were brought to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus. She enjoyed family get-togethers and nights in church. She loved teaching children and helping anyone in need. She was a nanny to the Robin family and loved dearly by them. She really enjoyed their visits after the kids were grown. Most of all she just enjoyed being next to daddy and all the love he showered over her… That is what will be most dearly missed … seeing them throwing kisses back and forth and holding hands!
Ruth will be deeply missed by her husband, Donald Day of The Villages, FL and Children Donald, Cindy, and David Day of FL. She has 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

GRACE WINIFRED ROCKWELL
Grace Winifred Rockwell, 79, of Summerfield, Florida passed away November 22, 2017 at Shands at the University of Florida Gainesville, Florida. She was the wife of the late Edmund Rockwell who preceded her in 1998.
Grace was born on August 26, 1938 in South Kingston, Rhode Island a daughter of the late Lloyd and Emily (Barbera) Knight. Grace moved to Florida in 1989 from Rhode Island. She enjoyed country music, making crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
Grace is survived by daughters, Cathy Freni and her husband, Gerome of Belleview, FL, Susan Peck of West Warwick, RI and Carol Winstel and her husband Christopher of Ocala, FL, her grandchildren: Kevin Freni of Kileen, TX, Sean Freni of Ocala, FL Leslie Freni of Belleview, FL, Kayleigh Winstel of Ocala, FL and Kelsey Winstel of Ocala, FL. She has 7 great grandchildren. She is survived by sister, Geraldine Resnick of Warwick, RI. She was also preceded by her first husband, Howard E. Peck and brothers, Lloyd G Knight Jr. and Frank J. Knight.

RONALD W. LAROCHE SR.
Ronald W. Laroche Sr., 69, of Ocklawaha, Florida passed away on November 10, 2017 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Christine P. Laroche for 40 years.
Ron was born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 11, 1948 as the only son of Joseph and Alvina (Simmons) Laroche. He was preceded in death by his only son Ronald W. Laroche, Jr.
Until he became disabled, he owned and operated several businesses. What he enjoyed most was restoring his 1993 Jeep Wrangler and volunteering at the Sheriff’s Office.
Ron is survived by his wife Christine, his daughter Aimee Lamothe of Rhode Island, 2 granddaughters and friends and relatives both here and in Rhode Island.
He was cremated by Crevasses Cremation and had a private memorial service at Village View Community Church on November 22.

DAVID ALAN GOMILLION
David Alan Gomillion, 54, of Belleview, Florida passed away November 22, 2017 at Life Care Center of Ocala, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Lori Gomillion for 35 years.
David was born on December 15, 1962 in Ocala, Florida a son of Wilbur and Sadie (Barone) Gomillion. He was a construction contractor. David served six years in the Florida National Guard.
David will be deeply missed by his wife, Lori and son, David Gomillion, Jr. (Heidi Gomillion)of Belleview, FL. He leaves behind grandchildren Trenton and Corbin and 6 nieces and 3 nephews. David is also survived by his mother, Sadie Gomillion of Ocala, FL and brothers, Danny Gomillion(Jackie Gomillion) and, Darian Gomillion(Suzann Gomillion)both of Ocala, FL. As well as brother and sister in law Brad and Carleen Heath and mother in law Joann Odum of Belleview. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Gomillion.

STELLA MARIE GILTNER
Stella Marie Giltner, 52, passed away after a long fight with cancer, at home in the early afternoon, on Saturday, November 25th, 2017.
Originally from Minnesota, she moved to Florida with her husband Jim, at age 18 and was a large part of the community in Belleview for 33 years. Together with her husband, she was the owner of AAA tire for fourteen years. Stella was known for her generous heart, unflinching optimism and incredibly sharp sense of humor. She was the true embodiment of “Glass half full.” When Stella wasn’t at work she could likely be found tending to her many flower gardens or sitting patiently by the river, fishing pole in hand, eager for that ‘big one’ to bite.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years Jim Giltner Sr.(63), their only son, James Giltner Jr.(31), mother, Beatrice Alaniz, one very fat cat Momo (10), elder sisters Norma Meyers, Bertha Hanson, younger sister Bernadine Skowron, and nephews Daniel & David Skowron.
The Visitation will be on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. HELEN S. PALACE
Mrs. Palace, 91, of Belleview, owner/operator of Palace Feed Store, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 24 at the Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, Fl.
Helen was preceeded in death by her husband of 30 years, Leo Palace.
Helen was born July 1st, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Florida in 1945. At the age of 23, she ad her husband opened Palace Feed Store on US Hwy 301 in Belleview. Palace Feed Store was one of the olest businesses in Belleview and served the needs of many in the community for over 55 years. Helen was Christian, and enjoyed dancing and dining at all the local civic organizations like the Pulaski Club, St. Pauls Parrish, and the Knights of Columbus. She was a member of the Belleview Lions Club and Belleview Historical Society.
After her husbands death in 1975, she and her daughter Jean Palace, also known as “Shorty” ran the business six days a week until her retirement at age 80.
Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Marie P. Summers and Jean Palace; granddaughter Leona S. Yawn (Chris Yawn), and great grandchildren Cassidy Yawn, Cole Tumey, and Cage Yawn, all of Belleview, Florida.
A memorial service, honoring her life and memories will be held at New Identity Community Church in Belleview, 9706 US Hwy. 441, one half mile north of Public on the left, Saturday, December 9 at 10 a.m. Pastor Wayne King officiating.

JOHN RICHARD LEWIS
John Richard Lewis, 86, of Ocala, Florida passed away November 18, 2017 at The Windsor of Ocala, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Shirley Lewis for 47 years.
John was born on November 18, 1931 in Indiana, Pennsylvania a son of the late Leonard and Florence (O’Hara) Lewis. Prior to his retirement he Westinghouse Electric. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed raising horses. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
John is survived by his wife, Shirley and son, Rob Christopher Neely of Boston, MA. He is also survived by brothers, Leonard Thomas Lewis Jr., of Pittsburgh, PA, David Francis Lewis Sr. of OH and Norman Lee Lewis of OH. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Raymond Lewis and brother, James R. Lewis.

ROY GENE WILES
Roy Gene Wiles, 75, of Belleview, Florida passed away November 14, 2017 at Estelle’s Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Wanda Wiles for 54 years.
Gene was born on January 24, 1942 in Columbus, Indiana a son of the late Leo and Mildred (Merrill) Wiles. He was of the Baptist faith. Prior to his retiring he was a plumber by trade. He was an avid CB and HAM operator for over 40 years. He loved fishing and the farm life.
Gene will be deeply missed by his wife, Wanda Darlene and daughters, Tammie Jo Smith and her husband Joe of Summerfield, FL, Dawn Renee Boatright of Belleview, FL and sons, Roy Gene Wiles Jr. and his wife Lynda of Summerfield, FL, Robert Leo Wiles of Belleview, FL and William Thomas Wiles and his wife Billie Jo of Ocala, FL. He was the proud grandfather of 9 and has 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Janice Bauman and her husband Russ of Indianapolis, IN and Joyce Powell and her husband Bill of Anderson, IN and brothers, Jimmy Wiles of Taylorsville, IN, John Wiles of Anderson, IN and Leo Wiles Jr. of Anderson, IN.

MICHAEL L. OHMAN
Michael L. Ohman, age 73, of Summerfield, FL passed away on Thursday, November 9th 2017 at Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala, FL. Michael L. Ohman was born on September 13, 1944 in Sears, MI.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Patsy Ohman, sons Kerry Ohman and Pete Ohman; three grandchildren Alyssa, Brendan and Cameron; four sisters and one brother and many friends and family, especially those at Plaza Lunch.

MARGARET A. “PEGGY” CIZEWSKI
Margaret A. “Peggy” Cizewski, (nee Gray), of Spruce Creek South, Summerfield, FL passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 under the care of Cornerstone Hospice at Heidi’s Haven, Fruitland Park, FL. She was the wife of the late Frank Cizewski who preceded her in death in 2012.
A native of Philadelphia, PA she was a daughter of the late Alice Egan and Benjamin Gray. She moved to Florida from Chalfont, PA in 1990. Mrs. Cizewski attended St. Jude Church in Chalfont, PA and St. Theresa Church in Belleview and became a member of North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake. She was a member of St. Theresa Ladies Guild, the K of C Council 8012 Ladies Auxiliary, 4th Degree Women’s Club and the Women of the Moose Chapter 1142, Ocala. She was well known for her generous distribution of homemade cookies loved by all who knew her.
Mrs. Cizewski was an Educational Aide at Butler Elementary School, Chalfont, PA for many years. She was a secretary for Colorcon, West Point, PA when she retired in 1990. She graduated from John Bartrum High School, Philadelphia, PA class of 1946.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia A. Cizewski of Quincy, MA and Elinor DeStefano of Colombia, MD; 4 grandchildren: Nicole, Matthew, Kristin and Brandon and one great grandchild Keith Michael. She is also survived by brother, James Gray of Misquite, NV and sisters, Barbara Wiley of Chalfont, PA; Michelle Cirillo of Cloverdale, VA; Phyllis Gray of Boynton Beach, FL and Dorothy Shaw of Kennett Square, PA. She was preceded in death by brother, John and son, Michael J. Orsini in 1995.

MARGARET JEANETTE BLIZZARD
Margaret Jeanette Blizzard, 81, of Summerfield, Florida passed away November 8, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late James Blizzard, Sr.

Margaret is survived by sons; James Blizzard Jr. and his wife, Alice of Summerfield, FL, Virgil Blizzard of Ocala, FL and daughters; Theresa McClellan and her husband Greg of Battle Creek, MI, Esta Grace Burleson of Destin, FL, Tabatha Bilbruck of Destin, FL. She has 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Blizzard.

Marguerite Ruth Bainbridge, 86, of Belleview, Florida passed away November 8, 2017 at Estelle’s Hospice House Ocala, Florida. She was the wife of the late Earl C. Bainbridge, Jr. who preceded her on January 28, 2008.
Marguerite was born on February 17, 1931 in Bowling Green, Ohio a daughter of the late Daniel and Clara (Allgire) Mitchell. She was of the Methodist faith. Prior to her retirement she was a Secretary at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Earl and Marguerite moved to Florida from Toledo, OH in 1969.
Marguerite is survived by: Son, Mark (Sheila) Bainbridge of Summerfield , FL and daughters, Janice (Andy) Lunday of Belleview , FL, Joyce (Glen) Fort of Gainesville, FL and Linda (Lloyd) Jones of Belleview, FL. She had 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Kenneth George Carlsen, 56 Years old, was born on October 12, 1961 and passed away on October 27, 2017 in Ocala, FL.
He was born in Binghamton, New York, son of James A. Carlsen (deceased) and Carol M. Carlsen (deceased).
Kenneth is survived by wife and close friend, Michelle Carlsen; his children, Sara Pressley and Byron Carlsen; his sister, Kathryn M. Carlsen; several grandchildren, and many, many friends.
He was a very caring and loving man, with a big heart. He loved everyone as if they were family. He loved carpentry and woodwork. He always strived to be the best at what he was doing. He took pride in his work, just like his father taught him to. He was an all-around amazing person and he will be missed by many.

Wallace was a native of Southbridge, Massachusetts he was a son of the late Richard Wetherell and Bertrice Burke. He moved to this area from Albany, NY in 1989. Prior to his retirement he worked on highway construction. He enjoyed camping with his family.

Joseph Frank Pitonzo, 84, of Summerfield, Florida passed away October 24, 2017 at his home.
Joseph was born on January 22, 1933 in New York, New York to Onofrio and Elvira Pitonzo. Prior to his retirement he worked as a Clerk Supervisor on the Stock Exchange in New York. He was an avid wood worker, loved football, playing the piano and enjoyed Big Band music.

ALICE QUIST-MARINARO
Alice Quist-Marinaro, age 78, passed away quietly on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Estelle Hospice House of Marion County in Ocala, FL. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Mary and Walter Quist on November 18, 1938. Alice was their youngest child.
She spent much of her life in Long Island, NY before moving to Belleview, FL and is survived by her long-time companion and love, John Muzio. Alice is also survived by her two sons and daughter; Domenick Marinaro Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; Steven Marinaro with wife Pat, of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Michele DeAlto of Peoria, AZ. She also leaves behind her eight beautiful grandchildren: Emili; Elizabeth; Michael; Alec; Cristian; Kayla; Cameron; and Anthony; and one great-grandson; Damian.
She will be remembered as the bold, strong-willed, loving and caring woman that never took “no” for an answer. Her smile and laughter were always contagious and she will forever be a shinning light that can never be replaced. Her family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to those that befriended Alice and aided her throughout her life and that loved her as much as they have. As an avid member of Belleview’s St. Theresa Catholic Church, she will be greatly missed.

Paula Grace (Roe) Chaffin, 60, passed away October 18, in Ocala, Florida.
She was born March 25, 1957, to Donald H. and Maxine Roe in Panama City, Florida.
Paula graduated from Forest High School in 1975, and lived most of her life in South Marion County where she was a Title Closer, a former Belleview City Commissioner and a Past President of Belleview South Marion Chamber of Commerce. Paula was very community oriented, holding many board positions for the City of Belleview. Paula was also on the naming committee for Belleview High School and Middle Schools.
Paula is survived by her father, Donald H. Roe; a son Justin (Bubba) and wife Shelby Chaffin; a daughter Lori Chaffin; five grandsons, Tyler, Ethan, Riley, Boedy and Colton Chaffin; two brothers, Larry Roe and Steve Ziebart. She was predeceased by her mother Maxine and son Joshua.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Springs, 5424 SE 58th Ave. Ocala (Baseline Road).
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Michelle B. Livsey, 39 years old passed away at home early Monday Morning, October 16, 2017 in Daytona Beach. She was predeceased by her husband Richard George Livsey, son of Ronald and Patricia Livsey.
She is survived by her Mother, Pacita Pamplina, 3 Sisters, Rachelle Jechelle, and Mary Grace who reside in the Philippines. An adoptive Mother, Dolores Betterley and adoptive brothers, Jeffrey and Leslie Betterley and adoptive sister Julie Betterley from Washington State. Two aunts, Azucena Brown, and Elisa Taylor, both from Oregon. Two stepchildren, Amanda Livsey from Lexington Kentucky and Chelsie Livsey from Ocala, Fla.
Michelle spent much her life working as a Pharmacist in New York City, and Daytona Beach.
Interment services will be held for both Michelle and Richard at Daytona Memorial Park on December 9th at 1:00. A reception will follow the service.

Charles was born on February 12, 1959 in Sayre, Pennsylvania a son of the late James and Eunice (Sites) Heath. He worked in air conditioning as a HVAC duct master and training manager. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed FSU football and NASCAR. Charles would always lend a helping hand whenever it was needed and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and co-workers.

TERENCE BAKER
Charles “Charlie” Terence Baker, 75, of Ocala, FL passed away at home in Ocala on Friday September 22, 2017. He was born to George Melvin Baker and Doris Marjorie Baker on March 1, 1942 in Allegheny county Pennsylvania. He spent many school summer vacations in the Ocala area during his youth visiting his maternal grandparents Charles Merritt Gordon and Hulda Mary Jane Gordon. He later permanently moved to the Ocala / Belleview area in May 1974.
Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from September 1960 to September 1966. After completing his basic training in San Diego, CA, he was stationed in Memphis TN, Naha Okinawa, Miramar CA, and Key West FL. During his service he was awarded the Armed Forces Nation Defense service Medal & the Good Conduct Medal. Prior to his honorable discharge, he attained the rank of AMH3 (E-4) while serving.
After the Navy, he attended the Harry Lundeburg School of Seamanship completing courses in Lifeboatsman, Able Seaman/tugs & Towboats, Fire Fighting, and Diesel Technology. Soon after, he worked for Interstate Oil Transport Co. in Pennsylvania as a tankerman. He later worked in many seaports in Florida until a disability forced him into early retirement in 1983.
After retirement, his hobbies included carrier pigeon racing, auto mechanics, small engine mechanics, and reading.
He is survived by his brother George “Bud” A. Baker (Murrysville, PA); sister Susan Baker Kenny (Atlanta, GA); daughters Tami L. Baker (Lehigh Acres, FL), Jo Dea Barker (Lehigh Acres, FL), Tonya A. Baker (OH); son Dr. Charles T. Baker (Ocala); nieces Katie Baker (PA), Darla Baker (PA); five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service Charlies will be held on October 5, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Christ the King Anglican church located in the side sanctuary of Living Waters Church at 3801 N. US Highway 441, Ocala, Florida 34475. Friends from the communities of Ocala and Belleview are welcome to attend. A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.

Dan was a 1969 graduate of Neoga High School. He attended Eastern Illinois University where he received his BS in Education degree and later his MS in Education Administration degree. His career in education spanned 32 years in school districts throughout Illinois including Geff, Colona-Green Rock, Petersburg, Tri-Point, and Aiken. He began as a teacher and coach, then moved into administration as a Principal and later as Superintendent of Schools. He was also active in the Illinois Association of School Administrators. Following retirement, he moved to Summerfield, FL, where he enjoyed time pursuing his passion of playing golf. He also enjoyed boating, skiing, and camping.
Dan is survived by two sons; Derek and wife Amanda of Waterloo, NE, and Jared and wife Tiffany of Mt. Juliet, TN, and five grandchildren; Avery, Lily, and Delaney Wright of Waterloo, NE, and Bennet and Jovie Wright of Mt. Juliet, TN. In Addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Chuck.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Neoga Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Red Cross.

Elizabeth Louise Wilkes, 88, of Belleview, Florida departed for Heaven September 13, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of James Wilkes for 20 years.
Louise was born on November 18, 1928 in Hamilton, Ohio a daughter of the late Jesse and Bertha (Lipps) Douglas. She was a member of the General Assembly of Pentecostal Church, and was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Louise was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a special and caring granny. She had the faith to move mountains.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, James and daughters, Katherine and husband Stephen Swift of Belleview, FL and Edwina Hampton and husband Dean McFarland of Belleview, FL. Dennis Frank Elder, 74, of Summerfield, Florida passed away September 10, 2017 at The Villages Regional Hospital, The Villages, Florida. He was the husband of Judy Elder for 53 years.
Dennis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio son of the late Stanley and Shirley Elder. He spent many years as a painting contractor and craftsman. He loved working with wood and spent countless hours in his workshop creating various items and gifts for family and friends. Dennis was known by those closest to him as a loving husband, father and wonderful grandfather. Anyone who knew him knew he could find humor in any situation and could fix just about anything.
Dennis will be deeply missed by his wife Judy and their daughters Denise and her husband Mike of Summerfield, FL and Dawn and her husband Mark of Pinellas Park, FL. He was the proud grandfather of four granddaughters: Amber, Cassie, Gabrielle and EmilyGrace, one grandson: Buddy, and eight great-grandchildren. Richard Franklin Lomberk, 80, of Belleview passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Richard was a native of Orange, New Jersey and moved to this area from Canastota, NY in 1996. He was a retired Marine Corps Master Sergeant.
In his free time he enjoyed bowling, coaching little league, playing softball, RAW wrestling, and yelling at the TV.

She was a member of the American Legion, a member of the Belleview Craft Club and TOPS. Audrey and Gerald moved from Lancaster, NY to Belleview, FL in June 1986.

She loved her 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his daughter in law Catherine DeMoranville, grandchildren Crystal, Rodney 3rd and Paul DeMoranville, great grandchildren David, Shane and James Brumley, Tara Miller and Paul DeMoranville Jr. and 4 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives.
He is proceeded in death by his son Rodney Jr., his parents Jesse and Inez DeMoranville, 4 brothers James, Jesse, Aaron and Ronald DeMoranville and his sister Joan Wordell and a great-great-grandson Gabriel Brumley.
He worked at Knapp Shoe in New Bedford, Mass. for many years until it closed. He moved his family to Florida after losing everything in a fire in 1988. He delivered mail in Spruce Creek until he retired in 2000. After retiring he enjoyed his family that he held close and making sure they were not in need and were happy. He made such beautiful memories for them from going on his first roller coaster ride with them to fishing, gardening, teaching them carpentry. auto-mechanics and giving them lessons on different musical instruments. All the while, making sure that we all knew how much we were loved and making them laugh daily. He told the family not to cry but to make sure we take good care of his wife, like he did for the past 62 years.
The family would like to thank Curtis at Eagle Transport for fulfilling his last wish. It couldn’t have happened without his help. Also Doreen DeMoranville for being their strength in their darkest hour.

Stanley Cleveland Post, 94, of Summerfield, Florida passed away August 16, 2017 at Estelle’s Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Jo Ann Post for 40 years.
Stanley was born in White Plains, New York a son of the late Stanley and Ruth Post. Stanley was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Silver Spring Shores, FL. He was a Veteran of the US Army Air Corps serving during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion. Prior to his retirement he owned and operated Post Reporting Services in White Plains, NY and worked for the New York Supreme Court. He enjoyed working out at the gym and following the stock market. He enjoyed all sports but especially baseball.
Stanley will be deeply missed by his wife, Jo Ann Post and son, Marshall Brainard of Valatie, NY and daughters, Debra Fortuna of Cortlandt Manor, NY, Robin Fleming, Willingboro, NJ and Diane Hillman of Greenwich, CT. He has 9 grandchildren.

Homer Lee O’Neal, 86, passed away August 8, 2017. He was born September 3, 1930, in Tifton, GA, to Roy and Amanda (Collier) O’Neal.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the Insurance industry. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and a huge Florida Gator fan!
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara.
He is survived by his son, Lee O’Neal (Sherri); daughter, Peggy O’Neal Holmes (Steve); three sisters, Bobbie, Doris and Ann; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

NORINE M. MUFFOLETTO
Norine M. Muffoletto, 86 of Belleview, FL passed away July 4, 2017 under the care of Hospice of The Comforter in Orlando. She passed peacefully at her daughter’s home in the company of loved ones.
Norine moved from Buffalo, NY to Belleview. FL in 1972. She was well-known in her 40-year career as a cashier at Russell’s Thriftway, Russell’s Fine Foods, Walgreen’s and Winn Dixie.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in The Villages. She is being cremated and laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Ocala.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Herbert Miller, her second husband Vincent Muffoletto and two grandchildren – Nicole Miller Schulte and Gabriel Miller. She is survived by her sons Eric Miller (Sandy) of Groveport, Ohio, Daniel Miller (Diane) of Durham, CT, and daughters Debbie (Miller) Ganoung (Rick) of Belleview, FL, Nora (Miller) Adelman of Belleview, FL and Meshele (Muffoletto) Conley of Orlando, FL. She had 12 grand-children and 12 great grand-children.

At the age of 72, Dona DeWoody passed away in her home in Belleview. She was born February 25, 1945 in Hartford, Connecticut.
In 1974, she moved from West Palm Beach to Belleview. Dona enjoyed cooking, gardening, volunteering at St. Theresa Thrift Store and Hospice Thrift Store in Belleview but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family.
She is survived by her sons, John (Millie) Warner IV, James (Crissi) Warner; daughter, Debbie (George) Wolf; grandchildren Alyshia Warner and Kristen Jones; sisters, Janie Snider, Jackie Douglas and Vickie Fessenden.

Marian was born in Wellsville, New York a daughter of the late Nadge and Jessie Cozzi. Prior to retiring she worked in Banking for 22 years. Marian and William moved to Belleview from Deerfield Beach, FL in 1997. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview, FL where she was a member of the Lady’s Guild. She was a Lifetime member of the Women of the Moose.

Joseph Phillip McDermott, 79, of Summerfield, Florida passed away peacefully July 6, 2017 at Ted & Diane Brandley Hospice House Summerfield, Florida with his family by his bedside. He was the husband of Emily McDermott.
Joe was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts a son of the late Joseph and Lydia McDermott. Prior to his retirement he was a Foreman at Foster Grant Corp. Joe moved to Florida in 1982 He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview, FL and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus belonging to St. Theresa Council 8012, Belleview, FL. He worked BINGO at the Knights of Columbus for 26 years. He was a member of Orange Blossom Hills Association and a Director for Housing. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and member of the American Legion. He enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox baseball team.

Francis Thomas Gorman, 93, of Summerfield, Florida passed away July 11, 2017 at Estelle’s Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Joan E. Gorman for 64 years.
Frank was born on in Girardville, Pennsylvania a son of the late Francis and Sara Gorman. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII in the US Submarine force. He was a graduate of Drexel University and furthered his education at USC. He was a mechanical engineer with the US Department of Defense.
Frank will be deeply missed by his wife, Joan and daughter, Joanna Hugney of Fairfax Station, VA and son, Frank Gorman of Jacksonville, FL. He has 8 grandchildren.

Walter W. Reaves, 83, of Live Oak, Fl. passed away Friday, July 7, 2017. He moved to Live Oak from Pedro, Fl. in 2001 after retiring as a barber and owner/operator of Walt’s Barber Shop.
He was a former member of the Jaycees and a former member of First Baptist Church in Belleview where he also served as a deacon. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved to coon hunt and mule ride. He was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church of Live Oak, FL.
He is survived by his wife Shirley; one son, David (Becky) Reaves of Live Oak, two daughters, Katharine (Daniel) Branistareanu of St. Mary’s, GA and Tori Ann (Toy) Underwood of Summerfield, FL; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was born in Sharon, West Virginia a daughter of the late Frank and Alice Johnson. She was a member of Souls Harbor First Pentecostal Church, Belleview where she loved to sing in the choir for almost 40 years. She loved to preach the word of our Lord. She also worked on the church school yearbook for many years. Lucille was a dedicated prayer warrior praying for many. She enjoyed fishing with her family.

Noreen R. Kenyon, age 85, of Summerfield, FL, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 25, 1932 in the town of Yates, New York, and was the daughter of the late Norman and Hildred (Smith) Heidemann. Noreen married her late husband Delbert Kenyon on August 26, 1950, and they resided in Lyndonville, NY until retiring to Summerfield, FL in 1985.
Noreen was a loving, caring and devoted mother to her 5 children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a homemaker until becoming a sales representative and eventually a district manager for Avon Products.
She was predeceased by her brother Gary, and sister, Meryl.
She is survived by her sons; Robert, Richard and Craig (Michelle) Kenyon, daughters, Cheryl and Deleen Kenyon, sister in law, Marilyn Kenyon, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Noreen was a long time member of the Belleview United Methodist Church.
Family and friends may call during visitation on Friday, May 26th, from 2pm to 4 pm, and from 6pm to 8pm, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, Florida. Graveside services will be held at 10am, Saturday May 27, 2017 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Malcolm Scott Davis, Sr., 83, of Gainesville, Florida formerly of Weirsdale, FL passed away April 15, 2017 at Oak Hammock at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. He was the husband of Mary Jane Davis for 13 years.
He was born on March 1, 1934 in Atlanta, Georgia he was a son of the late Victor and Elizabeth (Lockhart) Davis. Malcolm was a Dentist and a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy retiring after 32 years as a Captain. He was a member of the Barber Shop Quartette at Oak Hammock. He was also a member of the Southwest United Methodist Church, Gainesville, FL.
Malcolm is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Davis of Gainesville, FL and daughter, Elizabeth Jane Davis-Moynihan and her husband James Moynihan of Cork, Ireland and sons, Malcolm Scott Davis, Jr, and his wife Sandy of Chatsworth, GA; James Lockhart Davis and his wife Jennifer of Gainesville, FL; Roger Jefferson Davis and his wife Katrina of Virginia Beach, VA and Kevin Davis and his wife Sue of Columbus, OH. Jesse Arnold Heisler, 79, of Ocklawaha, Florida passed away March 31, 2017 at Brownwood Care Center, Wildwood, Florida.
He was born in West Union, Ohio a son of the late Paul and Sylvia (Breeden) Heisler. Jesse served his country in the U.S. Army. After his military service he worked in law enforcement in the early 1970’s in Ohio. He later owned and operated a heating and air conditioning business.

Ernest ‘Ernie’ Alfred Ayotte, Jr., 77, passed away March 30, 2017. Born in Providence, RI on June 26, 1939, Ernie grew up in Foster, RI and N Scituate, RI. He graduated from Central High School, Providence and was in the Army reserves in the mid 50s. He was Past Master of Hamilton #19 F & AM Lodge and Morrocco Temple of Shriners in RI. In 1980, He moved to Ocklawaha, FL where he was in the 351st Military Police Army Reserve, Ocala and was the owner of Ernie’s Small Engine Clinic. He was a member of Lake Weir Lions Club (past president), Lake Weir Kiwanis Club, Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary, Past President of Lake Weir Chamber of Commerce.

Randy N Barr of Summerfield, FL passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2017. Randy was a brawny, simplistic man always looking for a great cup of coffee and conversation which he found at Summerfield Convenient Store every morning amongst family and friends (Thank you Debbie and Ken). After coffee, he would tend to his farm and look for the beauty in things that most overlooked.

Jane Elliott Evans of Ocklawaha, FL, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017, at The Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, FL.
She was born in Sidney, OH, on July 2, 1936, and she moved to Florida 40 years ago.She was a member of The Ocklawaha United Methodist Church. Jane was very active in the outreach of her community.
Jane leaves behind a wonderful family including her son, David (Dori) Evans of Huntington, NY. Daughters, Donna (Bob) McLean of Ocklawaha. Nancy Wilson of Weirsdale. Sueanne (Jeff Zysek) Mazzurco of Ocala and Kelly Kanir of Summerfield. 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and a great-grandson on the way and several nieces and nephews. Her companion Robert ( Bobby) Adkinson of Ocklawaha.
Jane was preceded in death by Frederick, her loving husband of 49 years in 2005; her son Robert (Bobby) Evans in 2003 and her son-in-law Vinny Mazzurco in 2011.
A celebration of Jane’s life will be held on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 5 PM at The Dam Diner in Ocklawaha.

LARRY D. GROSE
Larry D. Grose, Sr., 72, of Belleview, FL passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala after a long battle with congestive heart failure.
Born in Montgomery, WV he was a son of the late Arthur H. Grose and the late Mary Ransom. He moved to Belleview in 1982 from West Virginia. He was an auto mechanic and service sales writer. He loved NASCAR, antique cars and enjoyed the Orange Blossom Opry in Weirsdale. He retired from Grundy Auto Sales after 19 years and could be found there on a regular basis.
He will be deeply missed by his son, Larry D. Grose Jr. and his wife Jan of Ocala, FL and daughters, Lora Grundy and her husband David of Belleview, FL and Sandy Strickland of Ocala, FL. He was the grandfather of Jamie Jo, Marshall Strickland and Mia Strickland. He is also survived by sister Rosemary Kirkdorffer and brother, Charles Ransom both of Indiana. He was also preceded in death by his brother Donald Grose.

George Wayne Tindall, 70, of Summerfield passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Wayne was a native of Ocala, Florida. He retired as an engineer from Sprint after 37 years.
Wayne was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is a member of New Bethel Community Church in Summerfield.
Survivors include wife Margaret “Libby” Tindall; son Kevin Tindall; daughter Dana Moran, son in law Joseph Moran, grandsons Carson and Trevor Moran; sisters Doris (Gerard) King, and Renee Merritt. Wayne was preceded in death by his father Reverend George Thurman Tindall, mother Mattie (Thompson) Tindall and step mother Myrtis (Crowder) Tindall, and sister Annette Hightower.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Oxford Assembly of God. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. She was born on January 26, 1929 in Lindale, Georgia a daughter of the late Reverend Paul and Janie (Cargile) Turner. Frances, the daughter of a Methodist Minister, was a teacher in Miami, FL for 24 years where she taught 3rd grade and was a Media Specialist in the school library. She loved the mountains of North Carolina and her church.
Frances leaves behind a daughter, Nancy Kay Smith of Belleview, FL and sons, Kenneth Marshall Smith and his wife Chong Sun of Hampton, VA, Phillip Cargile Smith and his wife Linda of Loxahatchee, FL and Eric Randolph Smith and his wife Dianne of Carlisle, PA. She has 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Franklin Smith who passed on November 14, 1973.

He was born on December 2, 1936 in Sherwood, New York he was a son of the late James and Genevieve (Myers) Dillon. Bruce was of the United Methodist faith. Prior to his retirement he worked in Real Estate Sales. His biggest enjoyment was working with his model railroad and photography.
Bruce will be deeply missed by his wife, Cynthia June Dillon and daughters Charleen Iaria of Ruskin, FL and Cheryl McRae of Star Lake, NY and sons, Richard B. Dillon, II of Ocala, FL, J. She grew up in Belleview, FL and Micanopy, FL and attended Belleview High School and Buchholz High School. Margaret enjoyed crafting, refurbishing antique furniture and classic cars. She was a loved mother, wife, daughter and sister who had a bright and easy going personality.

Emma Jeannette “Emma Jean” Smith, 89, of Belleview, Florida passed away February 27, 2017 at Estelle’s Hospice House Ocala, Florida. She was born on December 2, 1927 in Dunnellon, Florida the daughter of the late Clifford and Natalie (Diestel) Smith. She spent her early years in Romeo, Florida moving to Ocala in 1941.
Emma Jean graduated from Ocala High School in 1945, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University in 1949 and earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Florida in 1962. She taught at Chiefland High School for 1 year and 43 years at Ocala/Forest High School. She was twice honored as Teacher of the Year at Forest High and was also Junior Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year while at Forest. She retired in 1993 after 44 years in education. She was a member of Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Belleview/South Marion Historical Society, Ocala Christian Women’s Club and the Alpha Rho Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. She enjoyed traveling and playing Bridge and dearly loved spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Ocala First United Methodist Church since the age of 14 and was a long time member of the Friendly Fellowship Sunday School Class and Mary’s Circle of the United Methodist Women.
Emma Jean is survived by two first cousins, Catherine Johnson, Boulogne, FL and Netha (Claude) Grooms, Fernandina Beach, FL, numerous other cousins, countless former students and many friends including very special caregivers Florence Prentiss, Lynn Stephens, Pam Linihan and Kellie Linihan.

William Terrell Finley, of Summerfield, Florida passed away February 12, 2017 at Hospice House. He was born May 15, 1955 to Farrell Finley and Frances Williamson in Ocala, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Hough Finley, of Summerfield, FL and four children, Tres Baker of Summerfield, Heather (Eric) Riley of Summerfield, Brandy (Josh) Leighton of Elkhart and Terry Gabriel of Georgia. He had 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and sisters Noramae, Marion, Julie, Laura, Cheryl, Rhonda and Sandy (FL), Melody (GA), Martha (OK) and Cathy (TX). He is also survived by a stepdad Leonard Mess and stepmother Carol Finley of Florida.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Terrie Marie Finley, his mother Frances Williamson, his father Farrell Finley, a brother Sonny Finley and a sister Karen Taylor.
He enjoyed dry walling, his dogs, playing guitar, drums and singing. Terry enjoyed helping others and being outdoors in the nice weather. A celebration of life will follow.

Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. A native of Pikeville, KY, she was born March 9, 1931, the daughter of the late Turner Branham and Nancy Robison Honaker. She was a member of Little White Dove Baptist Church in Belleview, FL. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Taylor and her grandson, Marty McBride.

Jack E. Parker, 86, of Belleview, Florida passed away February 4, 2017 at The Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House, Summerfield, FL He was the husband of the Late Kathleen Parker who passed away on January 17, 2011.
He was born on October 12, 1930 in Fairview, West Virginia to Clifford and Hazel (Whitehill) Parker. Jack worked for the Ingersoll Rand Company as a Production Supervisor. He and Kathleen moved to Belleview in 1989 from Lawrenceville, PA. He enjoyed playing baseball, hunting and fishing. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War.
Jack will be deeply missed by his daughter, Jacqueline E. Parker and grandson, Jayson Poe both of Belleview, FL and brothers, Clifford Parker, Jr of Blossburg, PA and Richard Parker of Lawrenceville, PA. Doris M. Church Hammond, 86, of Summerfield, Fl., went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, January 22, 2017. Doris was born July 6, 1930 in Oneonta, NY. to Paul Hamilton Church and Helen Louise Beagle Church. Her children: John Hammond and wife Mary Lou, James Hammond and Jerry Hammond (deceased) all from Binghamton NY. Doris was a nurse’s aide. Doris along with her closest friends, James and Ruth Allison, faithfully attended Lady Lake Wesleyan Methodist Church (Pastor Daniel Burgess).
For the last 9 years Doris has resided at the Gracious Age Dementia Care Facility in Sanford Fl. under the care of Amy Furia, Nurse Case Manager and her guardian Gene and Marti McClintock. Doris was laid to rest next to her mother at Crum Cemetery, Summerfield FL. A private grave side service was held January 27, 2017 by Hospice Chaplin Leslie McCranie.

Jay A Smith, Jr. , 80, of Summerfield, Florida passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 in his home. He was the husband of Marilyn Smith for 54 years.
Jay was born on October 17, 1936 in Jacksonville, Florida the son of the late Jay and Nell (Craig) Smith. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and earned his Master’s Degree in Business from Florida Institute of Technology. Jay retired from the Lockheed Martin Company. He enjoyed watching Florida Gator Football, Basketball, Baseball and Softball. While he wasn’t watching the Gators he enjoyed playing softball. He also enjoyed building a Lionel model train layout and collecting trains.
Jay will be deeply missed by his wife, Marilyn Smith and daughters, Sheila Smith and her husband Walter Smith of Broomfield, CO and Sheri Good and her husband Andrew Good of Ellicott City, MD and son, Scott Smith of Austin, TX. He has 4 grandchildren; Alyssa, Allison, Ashley and Natalie.

Cory Eugene Strikor Slone, 33, of Ocklawaha, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 as a result of a car accident near Hull, Il. He was born in Gainesville, Florida to Allen and Vickie Holcomb Slone on November 3, 1983.
Cory grew up and attended school at Lake Weir High. While living here he worked as a heavy equipment operator for several years and helped his brother in construction. Cory recently moved in with his Aunt Marsha and Uncle Bob Brown of Barry, Il. Cory loved his music, fishing, boating, sunshine and women.
Survivors include his father, Allen and Stepmother Debra Slone of Ocklawaha, daughters, Hailey Slone of Belleview and Sierra Gentry of Ocala, brother, Jeremy Slone of Belleview, Grandparents, Eldon and Maxine Slone of Belleview. Grandparents, Evelyn and Arnold Edwards of the state of Louisiana. A Ceremony of Life will be at the Kiwanis Club on Lake Weir on Saturday February 11th, 2017 from 12:00 PM till 4:00 PM.

Lawrence will be missed by his sons, Matt Johnson of Belleview, FL, Skylar Johnson of Gainesville, FL, Lawrence Johnson, II of Louisville, OH, James Johnson of Salineville, OH and daughter, Peggy Russ of Umatilla, FL. He is also survived by sister Kathy Looman of Salineville, OH and brothers Donald Johnson of Lisbon, OH, Benny Johnson of Lisbon, OH, Bobby Johnson of Thailand, Jeff Johnson of Williamsburg, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Tim Johnson and David Johnson. He has 6 grandchildren.

RICHARD GEORGE LIVSEY
Richard George Livsey, 46, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away after a valiant battle with cancer on Saturday, December 24, 2016.
He was born on January 26, 1970 in Suffern, NY to parents Patricia Livsey and Belleview City Commissioner Ronald Livsey. He married Michelle (Jesipaz) Livsey on November 25, 2009 in Manhattan, NY. They lived in Rockaway Beach for 7 years before moving to Daytona Beach. He spent more than 25 years in the restaurant industry, 18 years of which was at famed Trattoria Dell’Arte in New York City. He was a surfing instructor in Rockaway Beach, NY and Daytona Beach, FL. As a writer, he published his novel “Waiting For The Bomb” in 2013, that is still currently available on Amazon.com.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, parents, and his daughters Amanda Livsey of Lexington, KY and Chelsie Livsey of Ocala, FL.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson, Road, Belleview, FL 34420. ANNA ELLEN KNOWLES
Anna Ellen Knowles, 87, of Belleview, FL passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 under the care of Atria of Lady Lake. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Knowles who preceded her on October 4, 2002.
Born in Brooklyn, NY she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Colleran. Prior to her retirement she worked in the cafeteria in the Long Island Public Schools. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview, FL. She enjoyed vacations with her family and liked Irish music and gardening.
Anna and Thomas moved to Belleview in 1999 from Long Island, NY.
Anna will be deeply missed by her daughters, Susan wife of Richard Komusin of Four Oaks, NC, Carolyn wife of James Price of Belleview, FL and Mary Ellen Turizo of Summerfield, FL and son, Thomas Knowles of Belleview, FL. She has 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, January 4 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview followed by interment in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Arrangements were handled by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services.
