Dolores Carter

Dolores Elouise Carter, 81, of Venice, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. She was born in Miami, Florida on November 29th, 1937,  to Rupert D. Adams and Margaret E. (Barnett) Adams.

Dolores worked as a school food service manager for Marion County Schools for 35 years. Many of the years at Lake Weir High and East Marion Elementary. She enjoyed Word Search Puzzles, spending time with her family and singing in the Church choir.  Dolores, “MawMaw”, spoke of her family often and never forgot a birthday.

Dolores is survived by her sister Margaret Louise Carter (John W. Carter Sr.) of Belleview, FL; and  brothers Rupert Dike Adams Jr. (Alice Adams) of Belleview, FL; Donald Adams (Diane Adams) of Cordell, Georgia; daughters Dr. Terrie Kielborn-Jennings (James L. Jennings Jr.) of Venice, FL and Deborah Carter Turner (James Jerry Turner Jr.)  of Fruitland Park, FL; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, with # 9 on the way.

Dolores can be honored by sending flowers or donating to Tidewell Hospice 220 Wexford Blvd. Venice, Florida 34293. Her memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday November 16th at Frontier Church, 2508 Westside Dr., Leesburg, Florida.  34748

BEATRICE ALANIZ

Beatrice Alaniz, 81 passed away on Monday, Oct. 28 2019 at 5:48 am. She was  a resident of Woodside Apts in Belleview, FL., for many years.

She is survived by 3 of her daughters, Norma Myers, Texas and Bertha Hansen and Bernadine Skowron both from MN and a sister Dora Hill from Calif, as well as many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters Rosa Alaniz from Texas and Stella Giltner from Belleview, FL and two brothers Carlos, Texas and Tito, Arkansas.

She was cremated with no service as per her wishes. Rest in peace Bea, you are missed.
