Randy Holland

Randy Holland, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on February 19th, 2020. He was born on July 27th, 1979 in Nuremberg, Germany while his father served in the United States Army. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Marion County where he resided his entire life.

After beginning his career in golf course turf management, Randy briefly tried his hand at a few other occupations before finding his niche in farm management, including the last 10 years as the supervisor of two different blueberry farms.

A graduate of Belleview High, Randy married his high school sweetheart Kristen Jordan in 2007 and was the father of three young children. Randy absolutely loved spending time outdoors — boating, fishing, biking, and traveling with his family. He was a devoted family man and loving father. There was nothing he enjoyed more than seeing his children play sports and experience the outdoors. They were truly the light of his life.

You could always count on Randy for a good laugh and interesting conversation. He was an avid beekeeper and known for cultivating the best honey. Randy was the most laid-back and easy-going soul you could ever find and will be missed terribly by all who loved him.

Randy is survived by his wife Kristen; three children, Morgan (age 10), Taylor (7), and Ben (5); his parents Terry and Shirley Holland of Summerfield; his brother Chris Holland of Summerfield; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 26th from 3-5 p.m. at CF’s Vintage Farm, 4020 SE 3rd Avenue, Ocala (S. Hwy. 475) a reception followed.
