Jeanne Gaustad
Jeanne Gaustad passed away quietly at the Renaissance retirement center in Sanford Florida on October 10th 2020 at age 97. Prior to that she lived in Belleview, Florida.
Jeanne was born March 28th 1923 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and graduated from Robert Packer School of Nursing, Sayre, Pennsylvania as a RN. Predeceased was her loving husband Richard Gaustad and son Samuel Gaustad. Jeanne and Richard were formally members of Belleview United Methodist Church and sang in the Chancel Choir, for 15 years, 1993 – 2003.
Surviving relatives include daughter Irene Harris, step-children Jolene Gaustad, Carla Sives (Gaustad) Tanna Fries (Gaustad) and Richard Gaustad), six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Jeanne lived a very full life gardening, crafting and knitting. She loved music (singing, playing the piano and dancing) and dogs. She was active in her church and always had a very strong religious commitment. She will be missed by many.
There will be a simple service at Marion Oaks Community Congregational United Church of Christ,15050 29th Terrace, just south of Walgreens on Marion Oaks Blvd. in Marion Oaks on November 7th 2020 at 10 am. After the service, we arc meeting at Sonny’s BBQ.

Norma Vause Hattaway
Norma Vause Hattaway was born on January 27, 1926 to the late Ingram Gregory Vause and Grace Clyburn Vause in Summerfield, Florida. She passed away to her heavenly home October 27, 2020.
She grew up in Summerfield and Ocala, Florida. She attended the Summerfield School though her Junior year of high school, graduating from Ocala High School, class of 1944.
She married Nathan Gaynor Hattaway, Jr. in 1944.
Nathan passed away in 1977 and Norma married Everett Bunting in 1980, and was married to him until his death in 2002.
Norma is preceded in death by her sister Beth Windham.
Norma is survived by her sons Nathan Gregory Hattaway (Gail), Duane Hattaway (Lynn), grandson Douglas Hattaway (Meghan) and great granddaughter Margot Hattaway.
Graveside services will be held at Crum Cemetery, Summerfield, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420.
