CLAUDE “JACK” ROBERTS

Claude “Jack” Roberts, 88 of Belleview, Fl, went to be with the Lord at his home on Friday, July 16th.  He was born  in Jenkins, Kentucky. Jack had parkinsons and dementia and was under the care of Marion County Hospice.  His wife Dawn and close friend Roger Spillman Jr, were by his side.

Jack served in the Air Force for over 23 years.  During that time, he was a flight attendant on Air Force One and served under Presidents Kennedy and Johnson.

Jack is survived by his loving wife Dawn of 42 years, two sons, John Barry of Blackpool, England and Wayne of Tampa, Fl, a half brother Ronnie Roberts of Idaho, and several grandchildren.  Jack was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, James and Larry Roberts, a sister Elaine Hall and Dorothy Sowards, and two half sisters.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be at Grace Baptist Church in Belleview, Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 7 pm.

Pastor Rocky Culpepper will officiating. Baldwin Brothers of Ocala is in charge of cremation.  Jack’s final resting place will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
