Maureen J. Anderson
Maureen J. Anderson (80) of Ocala Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Cates Hospice House in Marion County, Florida.
Preceded in death by her husband, David, and her brother, Mario DeBari. Born in September 1941 in Glastonbury Connecticut, Maureen will be missed by her two daughters Margaret Fay (David) and Karen Finn (Eric), four granddaughters to whom she was Nana: Meagan, Kylee, Caitlin, and Amanda along with a host of additional family and friends.
“Moe” touched countless lives over the course of her career at the State of Florida. She shared her love of orchids and shopping with all.

Mary Winter
Mary Winter, 83, died, October 7. She was born July 11, 1938.
Mary was married to her husband, Donald Winter for 64 years. She served with Donald in the Bahamas for 8 years and even after they returned to the States she continued to have a heart for missionaries and faithfully supported several of them.
Mary was a switchboard operator for Hobe Sound Bible College for several years and then became the secretary for Hobe Sound Bible Academy. Following that, she was a secretary for HIM at Hobe Sound until she retired in 2005.
Mary loved her family deeply and was thrilled anytime they came to see her and never missed celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and holidays with them.
Mary is survived by her husband Donald Winter; a daughter Lavonda Knable; and husband Marlin; a son Joel Winter; and wife Debra; a son Jerald Winter and wife Monica. She had seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great, great grandson due in December.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Agnes Witter; a sister Phyllis Long, a sister Marilyn Rice; a brother Samuel Witter, a brother Robert Witter and a granddaughter Karis Winter.
A service celebrating her home going will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Calvary Community Church, 6679 SE 174th Lane, Summerfield, FL 34491. The viewing will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the service at 2 pm.
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Parkville Bible Church in Etters, PA. The viewing will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm. Interment will be immediately after the service at the Parkville Bible Church Cemetery.

BILLIE MASON GILBERT
Billie Mason Gilbert age 90 of Belleview, FL passed away peacefully Friday, October 8th, 2021 at Brandley Hospice House. He was the oldest brother born January 10th, 1931 in Russell County Virginia to Ralph E. and Lena Gladys Gilbert.
He is survived by one son and wife Wade and Linda Gilbert of Ennice, NC; grandson and wife Glenn and Kim Gilbert; great-granddaughter Ashleigh Gilbert of Mt. Airy, NC; sisters Phyllis Keene of Romney, WV, Faye and Carl Crawford of Manassas, VA, and Charlotte Lewis of Manassas, VA; and many nieces and nephews. Billie is preceded in death by his parents; wife Catherine Gilbert; brother Burl Gilbert; sisters Gaynell Howell, Violet Combs, Lorraine Crutchfield and Sharon Peacher.
Mr. Gilbert retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County Maryland after 41 years of service. He proudly served our country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. He was a loving father and grandfather who was loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be Tue., Oct. 12, 2021 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at HIERS-BAXLEY Funeral Services-Belleview, 5946 Southeast Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34402. Veronica G. “Ronnie” Maxim
Veronica G. “Ronnie” Maxim, 74, died Oct. 6, 2021 at Bridgewater Park Health and Rehab. A native of Bridgeport, CT, she moved to Belleview, FL 49 yrs ago. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. Ronnie was also a Columbiettes, Knight of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the American Legion Post 284 Auxiliary. She was also a lector at St. Theresa’s.
She is survived by sisters Kathy (Roger) Sandor, Ocala, and Mary Lou (Chas) St. Cyr,
Crystal River, FL; nephews Dennis St. Cyr, Pompano Beach, FL and Timothy St. Cyr, New Port Richey, FL; niece Leah Eggert, San Juan Capistrano, CA; great niece Ella Eggert; and great nephew Zac Eggert; and several cousins. Ms. Maxim was preceded in death by her parents Mary “Toni” and Steve Maxim.
Ronnie loved traveling, reading and playing Bingo. She loved her family and always enjoyed spending time with them. She was retired from Barnett Bank and also was employed by Dr. Seaborn Hunt as a receptionist.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Hospice of Marion County. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Saturday, November 6, 2021 @ 10:00 AM at St. Theresa’s Church, 11528 US Highway 301, Belleview, FL 34420. Peter Clemens
Peter Clemens, Age 94, passed on 9/26/2021 peacefully at Cornerstone Hospice at Lady Lake, Florida. Pete was born in Worcester, Mass. on 5/6/1927, graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High and from Worcester Junior College with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Pete was a WWII submarine veteran having served on the USS Leopard as an electrical engineer and later on the USS Corsair. A gifted athlete, he played football at New England submarine base and competed against the likes of Harvard and Yale and won every game, including the North Atlantic championship.
Pete was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2062 and VFW Post 8083 Belleview, and American Legion Post 347 Lady Lake. He was a member of St. Theresa’s Parish in Belleview, Florida where he served as an usher.
He was the son of Rose and William Clemens. Pete was the last surviving member of his family of 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by 4 daughters, five grandchildren & three great grandchildren, two stepdaughters and one stepson and his loving companion for 9 years, Ruthie Patenaude.
Funeral services will be held at St. Theresa’s Parish in Belleview on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.
