November 1, 1950 – July 14, 2022

Our beloved, Johnny, went to be with the Lord as he was surrounded by his wife, children and several grandchildren at home in Summerfield, Florida.

Johnny was a child when he moved to the Belleview area from North Carolina with his parents and sisters, approximately 60 years ago. He attended the old Lake Weir High School, and joined the Army at 17 years old. He strongly believed that all Americans should be kept safe and that they had the right to freedoms afforded by our fore fathers.  He earned a living in the construction industry after his military service.

Johnny married Janet Ellen Fowler, March 17, 1972, and they made their home in the area for most of their 50 years together. They had three children John D. Riggan, III, Jennifer D. Riggan, and JoAnna D. McKinley; and 9 grandchildren.

Johnny is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters, Peggy Sasso, Patricia Dotson, and Pamela Joyner.

And he will be sorely missed.
