Walter Larry Gooden

Walter Larry Gooden, 91, of Belleview, Florida passed away January 23, 2023, at UF Health The Villages Hospital, The Villages, Florida. Surrounded by loved ones.

Walter was born September 10, 1931in Detroit, Michigan to the late Daniel and Marian Gooden.  He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he was a Motor Pool Supervisor for the City of Southfield, Michigan. Walter was very active in the Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, VFW, American Legion and the Military Order of The Cooties.  He volunteered his time at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Walter was a wonderful, loving father and family meant everything to him.

Walter was married on January 27, 1951 to Helen Eula Gardner.  They were married for 42 years and had nine children: Helen Hocking (Terry), Larry Gooden, Mary Taylor (Les, deceased), Barbara Ann (deceased), Steven Gooden, Charles Gooden (Lisa), Ronald Gooden (Hiroko), Lauri Taipala (Scott) and Linda Gooden.  They raised their family in Southfield, Michigan.

Walter was the loving husband of Nonia Gooden for the last 15 years.  He was the step-father of Ronnie Griffor (Amanda) and Catrina Griffor.  Walter was the grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 9. Walter is also survived by his brother, Benjamin Gooden (Jean). Walter was preceded in death by : his parents, wife, Helen, Wife, Eleanor, sister, Mary Lou Asborne, daughter, Barbara Ann and grand-daughter Aria Rayne Griffor.

Paul Earl Rishell Jr.

Paul Earl Rishell Jr., 48, of Summerfield, Florida passed away at home on Sunday, January 22, 2023.  He leaves behind a loving wife, Heidi Rishell, two sons, Brady Bolesta and Donovan Rishell, all of Summerfield, FL. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 5 siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Paul was a hard worker over the years with a sense of humor to make you smile.

He was a Jack of all trades and helped anyone in need.  He took apart anything and put it back together brand new.  Paul was a very loving husband, son, father, uncle and brother.  He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Rishell Sr., his  mother, Janice Rishell and one brother, Joel.

Paul will be missed by many.  We Love you to the moon and back!
