On 5/28/2023, at 10800 Block S Us Hwy 441, Deputy Michaelides observed a vehicle in a ditch with the driver unconscious. Sgt. Esquivel and Pfc. Eckert responded to assist and observed the driver, Richard Vandal, was displaying significant signs of impairment and had difficulty even keeping his head up. Sgt. Esquivel discovered a glass bulb pipe and small baggie containing a crystal-like substance (which tested positive for methamphetamine). Due to the circumstances, Vandal was placed under arrest and transported to the hospital for medical clearance. The vehicle keys were nowhere to be found, so hospital records will be subpoenaed and an arrest warrant sought for DUI. Case closed by arrest

On 5/28/2023, at 5198 Se Abshier Blvd (Circle K), Tina Roberts was issued a trespass warning for loitering and possessing alcohol in front of the store.

On 5/28/2023, at 5305 SE Abshier Blvd (RaceTrac), Sarah Harless was trespassed from the premises by management for disorderly conduct.

On 5/28/2023, at the 5800 Block SE Front Rd, Pfc. Eckert observed a speeding vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, Arleni Molina Casteneda, provided her Mexican passport and advised she did not have a driver’s license. Pfc. Eckert issued a criminal citation. Case closed by arrest.

On 5/28/2023, at 4920 SE Abshier Blvd (Walgreen’s), an unknown white male committed retail theft by stealing a bluetooth speaker ($52.99) and depriving the business of its property.

On 5/31/2023, at 5120 Se Abshier Blvd (KFC), Jonathan Weinberger was issued a trespass warning by management.

On 5/31/2023, at 5838 Se Robinson Rd Unit N (Lakeview Apartments), Jessica Gilliard committed the offense of criminal mischief by using a large hammer to break the door knob and damage the door frame to the vacant apartment.
On 6/1/2023, Pfc. Ortega observed Gilliard in the parking lot of the Wawa and detained her. Post-Miranda, Gilliard advised she had used a crowbar and sledge hammer to gain access to the room because her belongings were inside. Pfc. Ortega placed Gilliard under arrest and located a cotton ball with residue, two used syringes, and seven unused syringes. A field test of the cotton ball yielded positive results for methamphetamine. Pfc. Ortega transported Gilliard to the Marion County Jail without incident. Case closed by arrest.

On 5/31/2023, 6500 Se 107th St (Belleview Sports Complex) – An unidentified person committed grand theft against the juvenile victim by removing his bicycle valued at $1000.00 from the location.

On 6/4/2023, at approximately 0230 hours, Shontrell T. Harshey, (black male DOB: 8/31/1981) was issued a notice to appear for resisting officer without violence and issued a barring notice while at 5710 SE 110th Pl Belleview, FL 34420.

On 06/03/2023 at approximately 19:43, Diane E. Cassidy (white female, DOB: 2/3/1969) was trespassed by management for staying on the property after being told to leave, while at Silver Oaks Mobile Home Park.

On 6/03/2023, in the 11400 block of US-441, David William Porter (white male, DOB: 02/12/1991) was placed under arrest for driving under the influence with property damage and battery on a law enforcement officer, following an investigation in a motor vehicle collision. Porter provided a blood sample but refused a breath sample.

On 06/02/2023 manager Larry Wang (Asian male, DOB: 06/17/1969) issued Tonya L. Lapka (white female, DOB: 11/26/1991) a trespass warning at 5201 SE Abshier Blvd after refusing to leave after being told multiple times.

On 06/01/23 and 06/02/23 at Wawa located at 4025 sw college rd and Wawa located at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd, respectively, an unknown Hispanic male suspect used the victim’s American Express card number to make two separate purchases totaling $114.91.
