Rib Sale Benefits A Local Lifetime Resident In Need

On Saturday, June 17,  2023, Jesse Mobley let the smoke roll.  Jesse set up his smoker right at the split of Hwy 441 and Hwy 301 in Belleview.   The specialty of the day was a rack of smokin’ hot pork spare ribs for $20.

Proceeds from the Rib Sale will benefit Jesse’s sister, Julie Mobley Shoemaker, who was diagnosed in May 2023 with Stage 4, Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma, an aggressive form of Colon Cancer.  Julie is 47 years old, a Mom, and a Grandmother, whose catastrophic illness has taken a toll on her and her family.  Julie’s family and friends worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was happy and fed, serving a total of 180 racks of tender, juicy ribs.

Julie Mobley Shoemaker, is surrounded by her grandchildren.  Julie, a lifelong Belleview area resident, was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon cancer in May 2023.  Julie’s family and friends had a Rib Sale on Saturday, June 17, 2023, between the Hwy 441 and Hwy 301  split in Belleview, to help with Julie’s needs.
