Three Vehicles Involved In Ocala Collision

On July 19, at approximately 3:50 p.m., first responders were dispatched to SW 60th Avenue and SW 38th Street, where a three-vehicle collision was reported.

Units arrived on scene to find two vehicles – a sedan and a pick-up truck – upright with moderate front-end damage, and third vehicle – a pick-up truck – on its side with an entrapped driver.

Medics began conducting patient assessments while fire crews stabilized the rolled over pick-up truck and prepared for extrication. Removing the roof, crews gained accessed to the driver.

A total of three patients were taken to the hospital – the driver and passenger of the sedan and the driver of the rolled over pick-up truck.

The driver of the upright pick-up had no injuries to report.

Ocala Fire Rescue, Marion County Fire Rescue, and the Ocala Police Department responded.
