On 8/18/2023, at 10301 S Us Hwy 441 (Publix) – Ofc. Galler responded to the location for a reported theft. The victim advised she last had her wallet on 8/14/23 when shopping at Publix. The victim had already spoken with management, who reviewed surveillance footage and found the victim had dropped it in the parking lot and a man picked it up. The man made no attempt to return the wallet to employees.
Ofc. Galler reviewed the footage and recognized from prior encounters. Ofc. Galler is seeking an arrest warrant in this case.

On 8/18/2023, at 10825 S Us Hwy 441 (Spin City Laundry) – An unknown suspect committed Petit Theft by stealing laundry belonging to the victim.

On 8/19/23, at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd (Wawa) – Nikolis McKeown and Emily Camp were issued a trespass warning by management.

On 8/19/2023, at 10837 S Us Hwy 441 (Bumper’s Pub) – While conducting a security check in the plaza, Pfc. Eckert was flagged down by the victim who pointed to a male (later identified as Daniel Atkisson) and said he had walked out on his bar tab and threatened him with a knife. Pfc. Eckert detained Atkisson and began an investigation. Pfc. Eckert discovered Atkisson had consumed $52 worth of alcohol at the establishment, but Atkisson’s card declined. Atkisson refused to provide his information to the bartender and attempted to leave. The victim tried to intervene and keep Atkisson from leaving without paying, at which time Atkisson displayed a knife and threatened to “gut” the victim. The bartender corroborated the victim’s statement. A records check showed Atkisson was on felony probation for Possession of Cocaine and he had an active warrant for his arrest for violating probation. Pfc. Eckert placed Atkisson under arrest and transported him to the Marion County Jail.

On 8/19/2023, 11310 S Us Hwy 301 (Winn Dixie) – The victim reported that she left her vehicle unlocked and windows rolled down while at the location and someone stole her daughter’s Galaxy tablet. The victim explained the tablet had a GPS and showed at an address a couple of blocks away. Cpl. Harrington responded and located the tablet in the grass in the front yard. The homeowner had no knowledge of the tablet and had not left the home that day. Cpl. Harrington returned the tablet to the victim. Case set to inactive pending any new leads.

On 8/20/2023, at 5445 SE 111th St (Frank Cafaro’s Pawn) – An unknown subject(s) committed Burglary, Grand Theft, Criminal Mischief by forcing entry through the back door, cutting a cable to the alarm system, breaking a display case, and removing approximately $3,000 in jewelry. Case pending active.

On 8/20/2023, at 5511 SE 107th Pl – An unknown subject committed the listed offense by removing the license plate from the victim’s Dodge pickup.

On 08/20/2023, at 10837 S Us Hwy 441 (Bumpers Bar) – Richard Kurdt was issued a trespass warning by an employee after causing a disturbance.

On 08/20/2023, at 11300 Blk S Us Hwy 441, Steven Aurich was issued a criminal citation for DWLSR knowingly subsequent to a traffic stop.

On 8/16/2023, at approximately 2100 a counterfeit $20 usd bill was attempted to be passed as currency by an unknown white male, while at 10199 us-441 [Taco Bell]. Employees at the location identified the bill as counterfeit and seized the bill. The bill has been documented and reported to the united states secret service. This investigation is ongoing.

On 8/17/2023 at approximately 2010, in the 6200 blk of se abshier blvd., Javier Velazquez Rendon [Hispanic Male, DOB 12/22/1981] was discovered to be knowingly operating a motor vehicle, a blue Toyota Tacoma with no valid driver’s license in violation of §322.03[1] following a traffic stop for failure to obey a traffic control device.

On 08/17/2023 at approximately 4:37 pm Dustin J. Fox (white male, DOB 10/17/91) was arrested for trespass after warning by sleeping in front of save a-lot located at 10751 us hwy 441 Belleview, Florida, 34420.

On 08/17/23 at approximately 4:35 pm at the Belleview Square Plaza, Nicolas Thurlow (white male, DOB 03/22/09) was issued a trespass warning/barring notice authorized by an open trespass.

Investigation revealed that on an unknown date at 5344 SE Abshier Blvd (abandoned gas station), an unknown person(s) had pried off the plywood to the east side restroom door and opened the restroom door causing approximately $1,200.00 in damages in replacement costs and labor.

Investigation revealed that on 08/17/23 at approximately 9:26 am, at the Belleview Community Center located at 5615 SE 110th Place, Shawn L. Leland (white male, DOB 08/16/78) was arrested for three outstanding warrants for felony warrant battery commit domestic battery by strangulation, writ of bodily attachment child support civil order, and failure to pay child support from Putnam County and Clay County. MCSO Cpl. Gray (6190) transported Shawn to the Marion County Jail.

On 08/17/2023 at approximately 08:49 am at 10366 US Hwy 441, Mary C. Hillyard (white female, DOB 01/28/1929) was issued a trespass warning after returning back to the premises after being evicted.

On 8/16/2023 at approximately 2212, Coleton Richard Elliott (white male, DOB: 05/11/1996) was issued a permanent trespass from 10691 us-441 [Destiny Church] at the behest of the property owner. Elliot was informed that violation of the trespass is enforceable under Florida §810.08 as a misdemeanor.

On 08/16/2023 at approximately 11:26 am at Belleview Square Plaza Dustin J. Fox (white male, DOB 10/17/1991), Robin L Wicks (white female, DOB 11/05/1984) and Harley L. Cole (white male, DOB 10/18/1950) were issued a trespass warning authorized by an open trespass.

On 08/16/23 at approximately 7:45 am at Wawa located at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd, Adonis J. Cruz (Hispanic male, DOB 04/15/95) was issued a trespass warning/barring notice authorized by an open trespass.

On 08/16/2023 at 04:22hrs, at 5350 SE 110th st, offender Ashley Manning did commit the offenses of stalking and misuse of the 911 system by pretending to be a friend of the victim and requesting a well being check to be conducted at the residence of 10561 SE 67th Ct without a valid reason to believe the victim was in danger.

Investigation revealed that on 8-18-23 at approximately 0135 hrs a white female and white male did commit the offense of Retail Petit Theft by taking food and drink items valued at $8.87 From the Wawa located at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd without paying for the items.
