On 9/14/2023 at approximately 2300 hours, while in the 12200 block of SE Hwy 484, following a traffic stop Emily Joan Gaines (white female, DOB: 03/19/1982) was placed under arrest for an active Marion County warrant for failure to appear.

On 09/14/2023 at approximately between the times of 13:00 hours and 16:02 hours an unknown subject did commit the offense of criminal mischief by throwing a brick through the victim’s home and breaking a window in his home costing an approximate $500.00 of repairs to be done.

Investigation revealed that between 09/10/23 and 09/12/23 at SE 113th pl, Brandy L. Abernathy (white female, DOB: 10/30/92) battered her mother 3 separate times by striking her mother with a closed fist causing red bruising to her mother’s eyes, upper lip, and lip. Brandy was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.

On 09/14/2023 at approximately 12:31 pm Andrew W. Carter (white male, DOB: 03/10/1975) did commit the offense of burglary while armed by remaining in the property belonging to the victim while having a knife on him at 6512 SE 108th Street, Belleview FL, 34420. Angela M. Walker (white female, DOB: 06/12/1970) did commit burglary by entering a residence located at 6512 SE 108th Street, Belleview FL, 34420 and urinating and defecating on the floors/carpet.

On 09/13/2023 at approximately 14:55 hours an unknown white male did commit the offense of uttering a forged bill by trying to exchange a forged $50.00 USD bill for goods to a McDonald’s employee at 5515 SE abshier Blvd, Belleview FL, 34420.

On 09/13/2023 at approximately 16:07 hours, Ryan R. Cartier (white male, DOB: 11/08/1984) was issued a trespass warning from 6224 SE Babb Road (woods) authorized by an open trespass.

On 09/13/2023 at SE 51st court, Belleview, juvenile subject ran away from his residence after he was confronted for truancy by his mother. Juvenile was recovered on 09/13/23.

On 09/12/2023, at Five Star Pizza, 10133 s hwy 441 #2, Belleview, suspect produced a counterfeit 50 dollar bill to pay for $12.83 worth of food.

On 9/15/2023, at SE 108th St (Villas of Belleview) – An unknown suspect committed Grand Theft, Fraudulent Use of Personal Information by accessing the victim’s Wells Fargo bank account and transferring approximately $33,300 without her consent. Case pending inactive.

On 9/15/2023, at 5198 SE Abshier Blvd (Circle K) – An unidentified suspect committed Uttering a Forged Bill, Petit Theft by knowingly passing three counterfeit bills to the cashier and defrauding the business of $80.00. Case pending inactive.

On 9/15/2023, at 11310 S Us Hwy 301 (Winn Dixie) – Demetrius McBride stole approximately $240.56 worth of merchandise from the location, but management declined to press charges. Case closed..

On 9/15/2023, at Se Hames Rd/Se Front Rd – Leonel Cano Merida struck a vehicle and fled the scene of the crash without contacting law enforcement. Ofc Galler identified Merida as the driver and issued him criminal citations for Leaving the Scene of an Accident, No Valid Driver’s License. Case closed by arrest..

On 9/15/2023, 5713 SE Abshier Blvd (Lady Luck Internet Café) – Courtney Carpenter was issued a trespass warning by management after a civil dispute.

On 9/16/2023, 5018 Se Abshier Blvd #14 (Vin Mar Motel) – An unknown person(s) committed Grand Theft by taking 10 Xanax pills valued at an estimated $30.00.

On 9/17/2023, at 10410 S Us Hwy 441 (Wendy’s) – Raymond Nightengale and Ryan Cartier were issued trespass warnings by management.

On 9/16/2023, at 5803 Se Hwy 484 (Mrs. Steve’s Ice Cream) – Employees reported that a male subject attempted to pay for his order with a counterfeit $50 bill and left on foot. Sgt. Esquivel located the male, later identified as Austin Richburg, in the Wells Fargo parking lot and detained him. After an investigation, Richburg was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest yielded a counterfeit $50 bill in Richburg’s pocket, 19 more counterfeit bills (of various denominations) in his backpack, suspected methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Richburg was taken to the Marion County Jail without incident. Case closed by arrest.

On 9/17/2023, at 5300 Blk Se 112th St – An adult female was placed under a Marchman Act after being found stumbling in the roadway with a laceration on her head, which she received from falling minutes prior, and admitting to alcohol consumption.
