Arrests & Incidents
Investigation revealed that on 09/23/23 between 1:00 am and 2:00 am at 11625 SE 55th Ave Road, an unknown person(s) committed criminal mischief (2 counts) by throwing a filled water bottle (Circle K brand) at the victim’s, Linda E. Easterling (white female, DOB: 06/13/42) mailbox (value $35.00) causing the mailbox to fall off the post and a large dent on the mailbox and also throwing filled water bottles at victim, Robert B. Hall (white male, DOB: 1/19/58), pontoon boat (value $50.00) located at 11690 SE 55th Ave Road.

On 9/22/2023 at approximately 2130, Eric John Scott (white male, DOB: 02/16/1987) was issued a trespass warning from 10786 S US-441. Returning to the property after the issuance of this permanent barring notice is enforceable under Florida §810.08 as a misdemeanor.

On 09/22/23 at approximately 1:45 pm, at St Theresa’s, located at 11528 US Hwy 301, Eric J. Scott (white male, DOB: 02/16/87) was issued a trespass warning/ barring notice by Michael Travaglini (white male, DOB: 05/30/64) due to disruptive behavior.

Investigation revealed that on 09/22/23 at approximately 10:46 am, at 6017 SE Robinson Road (Hands of Mercy Everywhere), a female juvenile was reported as a runaway.

On 9/20/2023, 5830 SE Abshier Blvd (Domino’s Pizza) – A black wallet and driver’s license belonging to Jonathon Sloan was located and turned over to the police department.

On 9/20/2023, 10825 S Us Hwy 441 (Spin City Laundry) – An unknown person committed the listed offense by taking a laundry cart valued at $200. Case pending inactive.

On 9/20/2023, 10301 S Us Hwy 441 (Publix) – The victim (an employee) reported that someone cut his bike lock and stole his bicycle while he was at work. Cpl. Harrington reviewed the surveillance footage and provided a description of the suspect to dispatch. Chief Holland located the subject, later identified as Dillon Eason, at the Auto Zone (5113 SE Abshier Blvd). Cpl. Harrington positively identified Eason as the subject from the surveillance footage and placed him under arrest. Eason denied the theft. Cpl. Harrington transported Eason to the Marion County Jail without incident. Case closed by arrest.

On 9/20/2023, at 5305 SE Abshier Blvd (Racetrac) – Pfc. Hunt responded to the location for a requested trespass warning. Upon making contact with the subject, David Rogers, Pfc. Hunt conducted an in-house records search and discovered Rogers had already been issued a trespass warning from the location in February. Pfc. Hunt placed Rogers under arrest and transported him to the Marion County Jail. Case closed by arrest.

On 9/20/2023, a juvenile victim alleged that sometime during February 2023, her older brother stomped on her face with his foot, causing a knot on her head and a black eye. Case pending active.

On 9/21/2023, at SE Robinson Rd – A male juvenile committed the listed offense against his mother by pushing her in the chest during an argument, causing a red mark. The juvenile was placed under arrest and transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice. Case closed by arrest.

On 9/21/2023, 5275 SE 103rd Ln – The Belleview Police Department received a Florida Administrative Message from DCF containing information on a suspicious incident involving a juvenile from December of 2022. Case pending inactive.

On 09/24/2023 at approximately 05:45 a juvenile female was placed under a Baker Act after expressing suicidal ideation if she had to return back to her mom’s house.

On 9/24/2023 at approximately 0145, Nancy Jean Burdick (white female, DOB: 08/11/1975) and Jeffrey Dylan Begley (white female, DOB: 11/03/2000) were issued a permanent barring notice from 6666 SE 110th st (Opus Bar). Returning to the property after the issuance of this permanent barring notice is enforceable under Florida §810.08 as a misdemeanor.

On 09/23/2023 at approximately 2100, in the 11300 blk of S US-441., Geovanni Luis Rivera (hispanic male, DOB: 08/27/2000) was discovered to be knowingly operating a motor vehicle, a gray Honda CR-V [z900ve] with no valid driver’s license in violation of §322.03[1] Following a traffic stop for unlawful speed.

Investigation revealed that on two separate occasions, 09/21/23 and 09/23/23 at 11626 SE 69th Terrace, possible suspect, Lance J. Wheeler (DOB: 06/09/54) did commit the act of criminal mischief by using a crowbar to strike the front windshield of the victim’s, William J. Hastings (w/m, 04/26/52) 2020 Hyundai Kona ($850.00 damage) and used an unknown object to strike and damage the driver’s side rear of the victim’s 2019 Toyota Tacoma ($3,000.00 damage) respectively.
