The Fraternal Order of Belleview Eagles #4251 at 8350 E C25 in Belleview had a fun and festive Oktoberfest fundraiser on Saturday, October 21, 2023 with proceeds to benefit at least 10 local families for Christmas, up from 7 local families that they helped last Christmas.
The Oktoberfest and Polka Dance was hosted by DJ Ronny D and his wife, Lily, who volunteered their time and kept the polkas playing. The benefit had a variety of raffles, a 50/50 drawing and an authentic German meal, including Beer Brats, Sauerkraut and German Potato Salad all for $8.50, and all to benefit families right here in our community.
The Belleview Eagles has local guidance counselors help them identify families that need extra help for the holidays. Then they go shopping!
The Belleview Eagles traditionally try and get every gift on the children’s list to Santa and they include the parents in the gift giving as well. They involve the entire family and, with the help of Publix, provide them with a delicious holiday meal including some Christmas favorites.
The Belleview Eagles will be hosting a Halloween Party on Friday, October 27, 2023, along with their normal Friday evening dinner. Dinner is from 5 PM to 7 PM and is your choice of a 1/2 Ib burger ($11), Steak ($15), Fish ($12) or Shrimp ($11). The Halloween Party is from 6 PM to 9 PM and included prizes for best dressed.
