Arrests & Incidents

Investigation revealed that between the time of 1:30 am to 09:00 am on 12/02/2023 at 10825 us Hwy 441 (Spin City) Belleview FL, 34420 and unknown subject did commit the offense of grand theft by taking Colin M. Platt (white male, DOB 09/17/92) clothing from the dryer valuing at $1,000.00 USD.

On 12/01/2023 at approximately 1500 hours at 10540 SE 42nd Ct Belleview FL, 34420 an unknown subject discharged a firearm on the property causing a stray bullet to hit Stephanie Vaughn (white female, DOB 10/24/67) patio door causing $1,500 USD worth of damages.

Investigation revealed that on 12/02/2023 at approximately 11:11 a male by the name of David presented himself to Leannette Collum (white female, DOB 11/03/1935) to be an employee from lending cash express and scamming Leannette of $550.00 USD by asking Leannette to purchase $550.00 USD in Ebay gift cards in exchange for a $1,000 USD loan.

A hispanic male subject was placed under a Baker Act and transported to SMA after hearing voices in his head telling him to kill his father-in-law and then kill himself.

On 12/03/23 at approximately 11:59 am, an officer responded to Publix located at 10301 US Hwy 441, in reference to recovered property – $140.00 (7 $20.00 Bills) us currency as reported by manager Jennifer A. Green (white female, DOB 03/17/83). Jennifer advised the US currency was found on 11/21/23 by employee Lora Seabury at the end of register 7.

Investigation revealed that on 12/3/23 a purse belonging to Tammy J. Carpenter (white female, DOB 6/16/73), was located and turned in to the police department. The purse was returned to Carpenter without incident.

On 12/03/23 at approximately 5:12 pm, a white female was placed under a Baker Act for suicidal ideations and transported to The Vines.

Investigation revealed that on 12/4/23 at Advent Health ER located at 6006 SE Abshier Blvd, that the defendant Kenvie Donaldson, black male, DOB 10-7- 72, did commit the offense of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of stolen firearm, by being in possession of a stolen firearm while receiving medical attention at the location.

Investigation revealed that on 12/4/23 at the intersection of SE 110th st/S Hwy 441 a small plastic baggie containing suspected methamphetamine was located and placed into evidence for destruction.

    Great work and dedication to these officers there job is never done and there’s not nearly enough thanks for all the hard effort they put in there jobs! There is some real dangerous stuff out on there streets and the men and money with there stripes on take choice to protect our communities we love on!!!
