At 3:11pm on Tuesday, Fire Rescue units were dispatched to I-75 mile marker 370 reference a semi-tractor trailer rollover. Multiple 911 callers reported the semi rolled over on the inside lane, both in the north and southbound sides. The semi was carrying sheetrock.
MCFR crews from Orange Lake Station #9 arrived on scene at 3:18pm. Crews immediately began to assess the semi driver to determine the extent of his injuries. After establishing command, crews called for FHP.
Thankfully, the semi driver was uninjured, refused further treatment and did not want to go to the hospital.
The inside lanes on the north and southbound side of I-75 near mile marker 370 will be closed until cleanup can be completed.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
