Sometime between 12/28/23 and 12/29/23 at HCA Florida Ocala Primary Care located 4850 SE 110th st, an unknown person(s) opened a plastic deckbox at the back of the building and removed a sharps container containing multiple used syringes and non-narcotic vials. The sharps container and the used syringes were discovered next to a carport in the grassy area.

On 12/30/2023 at approximately 13:29 hours at SE 113th Place, a white male juvenile was placed under arrest for an arrest warrant/juvenile pickup order in reference to BPD case #2023110410.

Investigation revealed that on 12/29/2023 at 5840 SE Robinson Road, Kelly A. Windle (white female, DOB 08/30/89) alleged that she was battered by Heidi Lynn Young (white female, DOB 01/13/71) by pushing/punching Kelly making her fall. Due to a lack of a third party witness or video evidence, and conflicting statements from both parties this incident has been closed unfounded.

On 12/31/2023 at approximately 1051 hours at Publix, 10301 S US Hwy 441, an unidentified Hispanic male stole the victim’s iphone 11 (value $200.00) after it was left in a cart.

Preliminary investigation revealed that approximately 4 to 5 years ago, possibly at SE 108th street, subject allegedly sexually battered the victim.

On 12/31/2023 at approximately 1733 hours, reporting person alleged a gray Jeep had thrown something out their window hitting reporting person’s passenger side pillar and window leaving scuff and scratches. Due to not knowing who threw an item at his vehicle this case is being documented as a suspicious incident.

On 12/31/2023 at approximately 2315 hours, Stephanie Deshell Leary (black female, DOB 11/12/1980) was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. Leary was involved in a hit and run collision at 6541 SE 36th Ave. Ocala. Belleview Police Department officers and Marion County Deputies located the vehicle in the 10800 block of US-441. Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the hit and run collision.

On 1/1/2024 at approximately 0420 hours, two unknown black males did commit a violation of Florida Statutes 806.13 Criminal Mischief and 812.014 Grand Theft after breaking into the stand-alone Chase Bank ATM (10751 us-441) and attempting to remove the currency therein. The attempt to remove the currency caused an estimated $20,000 in damages and caused the interruption and impairment of business operation.

On 12/26/2023 at approximately 0400, a stolen vehicle reported by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office on 12/24/2023 was discovered abandoned in the 9900 block of SE 58th Ave.

Investigation revealed that on 12/23/23 at approximately 6:30 pm, at SE 113th st and SE 54th ave, Allen B. Sconyer’s (white male, DOB 06/25/76) reddish pink huffy girls’ 24 inch trail runner mountain bike 18-speed index (value $100.00) had been stolen by an unknown person.

On 12/26/23 at approximately 11:58 am, at Publix located at 10301 US Hwy 441, Nicholas C. Land (white male, DOB 02/11/01) was issued a trespass warning/barring notice authorized by an open trespass from Publix.

On 12/26/23 at approximately 4:20 pm, at the Belleview Police Department located at 5350 SE 110th Street, Ashisa S. Hughes (black female, DOB 08/27/85) was arrested for a warrant from Lake county for ct1 retail theft petit one prior Conviction/bond one thousand dollars. Ashisa was Turned over to MCSO deputy D. Watson for transport to the Marion County Jail.

On 12/26/2023 at approximately 19:45 hours, Douglas Weston McRae (white male, DOB 12/5/60) did commit the offense of driving a vehicle on public roadway without a valid drivers at 5500 SE Abshier Blvd, Belleview, FL 34420 and having a warrant out of Alachua County for failure to pay child support.

On 12/26/2023 at approximately 2332, Joshua Manuel Ocasio (hispanic male, DOB 09/28/1997) was placed under arrest for violations of 838.021 threats to a public servant, 944.47 introduction of contraband into a secure facility, 810.08[C] trespassing after warning while armed 509.151[1] defrauding an innkeeper, and 843.02 resisting an officer without violence following a verbal altercation at 10837 us-441 (Bumpers Pub).

On 12/31/2023 at approximately 1859 hours and adult female was placed under a Marchamn Act.
