February 7, 2024

Traffic Violation Stop on S US Hwy 441/SE 102nd Place: Corporal Harrington conducted a routine traffic stop on February 7, 2024, at an undisclosed time, after a vehicle made a left turn on a red arrow. The driver, Florencio Herrera Cifuentes, was found to have never been issued a driver’s license. Cifuentes was issued a criminal citation for the offense, leading to an arrest.

Criminal Mischief Incident at Cobblestone:

In another incident on the same day, February 7, 2024, at 4465 SE 106th St (Cobblestone), Paul Graber Jr allegedly committed an offense by toppling a statue owned by Robert Dermenjian, causing its destruction. Dermenjian opted not to pursue charges, resulting in the closure of the case.

Uttering a Forged Check at MidFlorida Credit Union: At 10131 S US Hwy 441 (MidFlorida Credit Union), Harry Throsten purportedly committed uttering a forged check on February 8, 2024. Corporal Harrington placed Throsten under arrest and transported him to the Marion County Jail.

Traffic Stop on SE Hwy 484: In the 5700 block of SE Hwy 484, Pfc. Hunt conducted a traffic stop after a vehicle failed to stop for a steady red light. The driver, identified as Celia Cifuentes Cano, was discovered to have never been issued a driver’s license. Pfc. Hunt issued Cifuentes Cano a criminal citation for the offense, leading to a resolution through arrest.

Ex Parte Order Transfer: Officers located an adult male with an ex parte order on February 8, 2024, at 11615 SE 57th Ct, and transferred care and custody to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Criminal Mischief at Hands of Mercy Everywhere: An unknown individual committed an act of criminal mischief on February 8, 2024, at 6017 SE Robinson Rd (Hands of Mercy Everywhere), damaging the valve stems and puncturing the tires of Margaret Miller’s truck.

Retail Theft at Circle K: Also on February 8, 2024, at 5198 SE Abshier Blvd (Circle K), an unidentified black male engaged in retail theft by absconding with two vapes from the store counter.

February 9, 2024

Suspicious Activity at Wawa: At approximately 3:34 PM on February 9, 2024, at Wawa located at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd, Wawa manager Laurie A. Wood reported suspicious activity involving a white female, identified as Emalee E. Anderson. Allegedly, Anderson had a firearm positioned between her legs while seated in her vehicle. However, a check in law enforcement databases revealed no indication of the firearm being stolen, and Anderson possessed a concealed weapons permit. Anderson claimed her vehicle had broken down.

Criminal Mischief Incident at Wild City: On February 9, 2024, around 1:50 PM at Wild City located at 5408 SE Abshier Blvd, an unknown black male committed criminal mischief. The individual entered the shop and attempted to return an item. Tyler J. Sowers, an employee, informed the male that the item could not be returned due to prior use. In response, the male became irate, throwing approximately 20 glass rose stems and a plastic sign on the floor, causing significant damage. The suspect left in a silver KIA bearing Florida tag GDIB03.

February 10, 2024

Felony Petit Theft at Save A Lot: Tiffany S. Posey committed an act of felony petit theft on February 10, 2024, at 12:36 PM at Sav A Lot located at 10751 US Hwy 441. Posey selected items valued at $43.48, concealed them in a bag, and bypassed all points of sale before exiting the premises. Law enforcement arrested Posey and transported her to the Marion County Jail.

Recovered Property Reported: On February 10, 2024, at approximately 6:00 PM, Sherry Lynne Fowler approached Belleview Police Department officers after recovering a wallet belonging to Lydia Araujo-Hall. Fowler surrendered the wallet and its contents to police, who placed the items into evidence for safekeeping.

Trespass Warning Issued at Walgreen: On February 10, 2024, around 9:45 PM at 4920 SE Abshier Blvd (Walgreen), Brian Baker and Jessica Rolph were issued a trespass warning for looking into people’s vehicles.

February 11, 2024

Criminal Mischief Incident: Investigation revealed that on February 11, 2024, at 6761 SE 105th Pl, Brian F. Pack committed the offense of criminal mischief by damaging a doorknob belonging to victim Kailee Foster, causing approximately $35.00 in damage.

Trespass After Warning at Sonny’s: On February 11, 2024, at 5239 SE Abshier Blvd (Sonny’s), around 7:11 PM, Hannah Bliss Fedukovich was placed under arrest for trespass after warning.

Driving With Suspended License Reported:

On February 11, 2024, at approximately 7:26 PM, in the 6600 block of SE 110th St, Derick Cole Leslie was discovered to be operating a motor vehicle, a white Toyota Camry, while his license was suspended in violation of §322.34[2].

Additional Trespass After Warning and Drug Possession Arrest: On February 11, 2024, at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd, David A. Rogers was placed under arrest for trespass after warning. During a pat-down by a detention deputy, a baggy with white powder was found in his rear pocket, resulting in additional charges of introduction of contraband into a secured facility.
