March 20:

Marchman Act

At 5035 SE Abshier Blvd (Motel 728), an adult male was placed under a Marchman Act following an apparent drug overdose.

Issue Trespass Warning

At 3853 SE 99th Ln (Cobblestone North), Scott West and Blair Calloway were trespassed from the location by the property owner after an eviction from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.



Misuse of Temporary Tag

In the 10600 Block of S US Hwy 441, Chief Holland conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an expired temporary license plate (expired in May of 2023). Branson McGough, the driver, received a criminal citation.

March 21:

Traffic Homicide Investigation

Officers responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident in the 5300 Block of SE Abshier Blvd. An adult female pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized under a trauma alert. The driver of the vehicle cooperated with the investigation.

William Bladimir Gomez was arrested at 13303 SE 39th Ct on a misdemeanor warrant issued by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear.

March 23:

No Valid DL

Aldo Mauricio Martinez Salas was found operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license in the 10400 Block of S US 441.

Ruben Santiago Marcos was cited for driving without a license in the area of SE Baseline Rd and SE Foss Rd.

March 24:

Trespass Warning

Lloyd C Weidenhammer and Samantha M. Weedon were issued trespass warnings at 5172 SE Abshier Blvd (All About Arts) after establishing a camp on business property.

Robert P. Lopiano was issued a trespass warning at 10300 S US Hwy 441 (Belleview Regional Plaza) at the request of property management.

Fraud/Petit Theft

An unknown male suspect committed fraud and petit theft by convincing the victim he was a deputy sheriff and making the victim send $280.00 in Bitcoin to nullify an alleged warrant for the victim’s arrest.
